I didn't know where I was.

I would wake up for a few moments, and then I would fall unconscious again. The first time I opened my eyes, I saw that I was still in the back of a vehicle. It was very dark and cold. I think I was tied up because I couldn't move my arms or legs. I wasn't tied too tightly; if I wanted to, I could easily slip out. Unfortunately, my left arm was in major pain. The smallest movement would set my nerves on fire. So escaping wasn't an option right now.

I tried to at least sit up so I wouldn't have to lean against my arm. I used my one good leg to push myself up against the wall. It took me a couple if tries to properly lean myself along the wall in a way that would cause less pain in my arm. After finally propping myself up, I fell unconscious again.

I woke up later to find myself in the sun. I was being carried again with the same strange gentleness. It wasn't very long before I fell unconscious again, but before I did, I heard a voice. It seemed to come from the right, so it wasn't the person carrying me. I was pretty sure it was a girl's voice.

She said, "Don't worry, you'll feel better soon."

After that, I lost consciousness.

The next time I woke up, I stayed awake. I found myself on a bed. Well, more like a hospital bed. My cuts and wounds were bandaged, and I felt less pain through out my body. I would have attempted to escape, but Willow was still missing.

On the night stand next to my bed, there was a clock with a built in calender. According to the date, I had been unconscious for four days. I was really beginning to worry. I didn't know where I was, or what was going on.

Just then, someone opened the door to my room. A boy that looked about the same age walked in. He was in an all black tuxedo with a gray tie that wasn't tucked into his suit. He was very tall; at least four feet tall. I was pretty sure he was a tiger, but I couldn't see his face. He had his head down, causing his brown hair hang in front of his face.

He slowly looked up. His hair moved to the side, his eye was bright white, with no pupil.

"Arthur," he said in a smooth tone, "you have no idea who I am do you?"

I guess my life wasn't as normal as I thought, "Am I suppose to?"

"Of course, after all, I was the one who tried to kill you about, oh I would say, about a year ago." He now stood two feet away from me; his hands behind his back.

Now, I was really worried. "Who are you?"

He leaned closer to me, "You, can call me Agent White."

"You a spy or something?"

"Please, a spy is nothing compared to me."

"Then what are you?" I was becoming very impatient with this guy.

"I told you, I'm an agent."

"Uhh, ok? Now, Agent White," this time I leaned closer to him, "where's Willow?"

He backed up a little with a confused look on his face, "Pardon? Oh, you mean the seedrian, we placed her in cell downstairs. Well, it's not exactly a cell as in with metal bars, but more like a safe with-"

I had no care for story time, "Did you hurt her?"

"Still rude as ever, no she is unharmed. Although we did drug her so she would calm down. Your friend Willow can certainly put up a fight."

"YOU WHAT!?"

"Oh calm down Arthur, it was only a tranquilizer. No need to panic. Now you should calm yourself before you rip those stitches of yours." He then reaches into his pants pocket and pulls out a syringe. "And if you don't calm down then I will have to tranquilize you as well."

I didn't care about the syringe, Willow wasn't safe here. And neither was I. I didn't know who this guy was and I didn't care to find out. I sat up, and tried to get out of bed.

Agent White continued to speak, "Ok, fine. I was bluffing. Tranquilizers don't effect you." He threw the syringe over his shoulder, and it ended up in the trash can. "Now Arthur, calm yourself. You are only embarrassing yourself here."

I ignored him and swung my legs over the edge. I jumped down and almost fell. Thankfully, I still had a little balance. My legs were definitely sore. It hurt to just stand there.

"What do you think your doing Arthur? You can't leave at the moment"

"Y-you can't tell me w-what to do." My voice was terribly shaky.

"Well, on the contrary, I'm your doctor. I'm the one who bandaged you up. So," Agent White reached into his inner suit pocket this time, and pulled out a gun, "get back into bed. Now."

There is no way I could escape now. No way I could save Willow.

I was to weak to even get on the bed. How was I even going to save Willow in my condition. "I don't think I c-can."

Agent White slid the gun back into his pocket. " I must admit, I admire your persistent attitude. But your still pathetic."

Agent White helped me back into bed. He was gentle with helping me. Agent White must have been the one who was carrying me. I then fell back against the bed, I felt really weak. maybe I should calm down. This could be my chance to find out about myself.

"Fine, can you just answer me this, why am I here?"

Agent White then pulled a chair over and sat down. This was obviously going to be a long talk.

"It started about 16 years ago; from the day you were born. Your heart was bearably beating. You were not expected to make it 24 hours."

"And yet here I am; alive. Barely, but alive. Now how is that?" I started to think that this guy was lying to me.

"Your mother was a scientist of some sort and she magically saved your life. Well, if you want to call if magic you can. What she really did, is not what I would call magical by any means. I prefer to call it evil what she did to you."

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

Agent White's watch began to make a strange beeping noise. He took a moment to look at it.

"Oh so sorry Arthur, story time is going to have to wait. I am late for a meeting. Until then, wait here." He then got up and pushed the chair back in.

"Wait, what about my mom? What happened to me?"

"Like I said Arthur, it will have to wait. Don't you ever listen?" He was just about out the door, "Oh and don't try to escape, if you open this door from the inside an alarm goes off." And with that, he shut the door. Leaving me alone with even more questions that may never be answered.
Yeah I know, I drew a line through Arty's tail....sorry about that.
Also, Arty really hates hospitals. They creep him out. :XD:
